The grand finale. Giving it everything they've got.

So this is the one I see on TV all the time. Too bad I am in the wrong location. sigh

Looks like the Eiffel Tower is on fire in this shot. Burn baby, burn.

For a moment there, I thought that this was a coconut tree with bushes on the side. Haha, I was lucky to catch it.

The best shot I have. I adore it when the Eiffel Tower sparkles like that. Combined with fireworks, it is simply amazing.

I was beginning to wonder if they don't like their fireworks to be too colorful. Bah, but it is obvious in this shot that I am in the wrong location. This show is meant for people located in Trocadero. I am so going there next time.

I forgot that they love the "shimmer effect" in their fireworks show. I'm not very fond of it though, feeling that this should be used sparingly for that delicate effect. But the French use it a lot, hence losing its charm.

Now for some color combinations. I was afraid that they will use the monochromatic effect like what the French team did in the Pyro Olympics last 2008.

Loving the blue and white combination in this shot. They did shoot the fireworks from the tip of the tower.

I love this shot because I felt I was able to maximize the exposure time. It's got to be red, for dramatic effect.

Another test shot, but the organizers of the event decided to begin the fireworks show. Oh well.

Test shot. As you can see, I got a place near the boats of Seine River. One of the less crowded places, since most people decided to hang out near the tower.
